Man Pleads Guilty In Conspiracy To Steal $163,000 of Beef Products Since There Is Honestly Nothing Else Worth Stealing In Nebraska
(THE GIST) — A California man has pleaded guilty to attempting to steal beef products worth $163,000 from an Omaha facility, which shouldn't surprise anyone because what else is there in Nebraska worth planning a heist over, corn?
Artak Medjbarian, 33, was arrested after falsifying documents and imitating a freight hauler seeking to transport and steal meat from Nebraska Beef. He is scheduled to be sentenced on October 7th.
Medjbarian and his cohorts surely would have planned a heist to steal from a casino or foreign embassy if Nebraska had anything that interesting.
