Woman Learns Secret To Quick Medical Care: Get Shot While Already At Hospital
(THE GIST) — An unnamed 62-year-old Pennsylvania woman finally cracked the code to getting adequate, timely medical attention in this country when she was struck by a bullet while conveniently lying in her hospital bed Monday night.
The woman was at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Chester, Penn., for a routine procedure when the stray projectile came flying through her window, immediately upgrading the quality and urgency of her care.
The victim suffered an abdominal wound and was quickly rushed into surgery, presumably bypassing dozens of miserable, forgotten patients without having to fill out a single piece of paperwork.
She is currently in stable condition at the hospital, where she is once again being completely ignored by doctors.
Police continue to investigate.
